A bit about me:

Ivana Rihter is an LA-based writer, covering pop culture, fashion, music and beauty. As a freelance writer and editor her writing has appeared in Vogue, Allure, Nylon, Vice, i-D, Fashionista, Narratively and more. Before moving to Los Angeles, Ivana studied journalism and peace, justice and conflict in Chicago and went on to work at Vogue in New York. 

She currently works as Bustle’s west coast writer and reporter, specializing in reported features, on-camera interviews and music profiles. She has interviewed the likes of Alanis Morissette, Liz Phair, Japanese Breakfast, Brandi Carlile, Maggie Rogers, Tori Amos and many more. 

Her long-form stories, How Ted Bundy's Killing Spree Launched a Legion of Feminist Karate Masters and Meet the Paranormal Moms Society, are both currently optioned to be adapted to the screen by Warner Brothers.

She is currently available for freelance work, brand work and creative consulting.
